Baladi is a raw three milk (cow, goat, sheep) cheese from the Middle East. Due to the cheese being uncultured and unpasteurized with a high moisture content, it only lasts a few days and offers a rich buttery flavor. The cheese is also known as the “cheese of the mountains,” due to the fact many high mountain shepherds in Lebanon make it.
